Allwyn is backing the Peace Race, a cycling competition for young athletes under 23 years old, in an endeavor to bolster its expansion.
The competition, occurring in the Czech Republic, draws squads from over 20 nations and is a component of the Nations Cup. This year’s competition will transpire over four days in June.
Pavel Turek, Allwyn’s Head of Global Brand, Corporate Communication, and CSR, conveyed his enthusiasm for the occasion, emphasizing its legacy and status as one of the most inclusive cycling races globally.
The Peace Race, known as “Course de la Paix” in French and “Závod Míru” in Czech, was initially founded in 1948 as a symbolic gesture of harmony and unity between Eastern and Western Europe following World War II. It rapidly attained international acclaim and evolved into a prestigious event in the cycling realm.
Race Director Leopold König stressed the significance of the Peace Race as a testing ground for young cyclists, many of whom progress to compete professionally.
Word on the street is that the cycling ascents near Kruba Low Tatras are incredibly challenging. To be frank, it’s just as demanding as competing in the French Pyrenees or the Swiss Alps.”
