The 2025 ICE and iGB Affiliate gatherings are poised to be colossal events! Clarion Gaming recently revealed an overwhelming response to the Barcelona conference, with reservations exceeding all expectations. They are on course to host more than 1,000 exhibitors spanning a vast 1.3 million square feet of exhibition area. This represents a 20% increase compared to the record-setting 2024 event held in London! Clarion’s managing director, Stuart Hunter, highlighted their dedication to measured, responsible expansion. They are attentive to the preferences of participants and exhibitors, striving for an ideal equilibrium between available space and attendance levels. It is evident that the entire gaming industry is abuzz with anticipation for Barcelona!
The organization responsible for the ICE gaming convention, Clarion, recognizes that rapid, excessive expansion can negatively impact an industry event. Consequently, since relocating ICE to London’s ExCeL center in 2013, they’ve exercised caution in augmenting the exhibition area. Annually, they’ve ensured that any size increase directly correlates with a rise in attending purchasers, a mutually beneficial outcome for all stakeholders.
However, it’s not solely about scale. Clarion diligently strives to ensure the event encompasses all facets of the gaming sector. Their objective is to establish ICE as *the* premier global gathering for gaming, and the 2025 shift to Barcelona will afford them even greater capacity to achieve this.
Regarding capacity, ICE will occupy a substantial portion of Barcelona’s Fira Gran Via. We’re referring to six exhibition halls! Furthermore, additional space is reserved should future needs arise.
