The international gaming sector is poised for a monumental occasion. The 2025 ICE and iGB Affiliate conferences are on course to be the largest yet, anticipating more than 1,000 participating companies. Event coordinator, Clarion Gaming, disclosed that requests for space at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via location have been “unmatched.” Consequently, next January’s gathering will occupy 20% more area than the record-setting 2024 London event, encompassing over 120,000 square meters.
Clarion Gaming’s Managing Director, Stuart Hunter, stated that reservations for exhibition spaces at the 2025 event are almost at capacity, even with the substantial expansion of the venue. He highlighted that the event has the potential to expand further in subsequent years, as they have access to over 200,000 square meters at the Gran Via site. However, they opted to limit the 2025 event to 120,000 square meters to maintain a manageable attendee volume and facilitate organized growth in the years to come.
Anticipation is running high, with both established exhibitors and fresh faces eager to secure their place at what is set to be a watershed moment for the sector.
Clarion Gaming, a commercially driven enterprise, recognizes its obligation to the gaming sector. Their primary objective is to ensure ICE and iGB Affiliate cater to the global industry’s requirements, and the relocation to Barcelona will bolster their capacity to achieve this.
Come 2025, ICE/iGBA will occupy over 120,000 square meters at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, with iGB Affiliate situated in Hall 1 and ICE extending across Halls 2 through 5. This five-year contract guarantees a designated area of 120,000 square meters for ICE/iGBA.
