The Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) has issued a vendor permit to Play’n Go, enabling them to operate within the province.

Play’n Go is now officially permitted to collaborate with operators in the newly regulated Ontario gaming market, set to commence on April 4th. Play’n Go’s Chief Business Officer, Magnus Olsson, stated that regulated markets are essential to Play’n Go’s business plan and the industry overall, as they guarantee a secure gaming environment for players and empower operators to concentrate on delivering genuinely sustainable amusement and entertainment experiences.

“Ontario is a significant province, encompassing 40% of Canada’s population, and we anticipate players there relishing our games.

“Nevertheless, Ontario is merely the initial phase of Play’n Go’s North American expansion strategy, which will soon witness our games being offered for the first time in chosen US state-regulated online gaming districts.

“With the launch of the regulated Ontario market, and our entry into the US, this is poised to be an exhilarating year for Play’n Go.”

Play’n Go is among the initial suppliers to receive a license from the AGCO. The company declared that it will provide slot games such as Rise of Olympus, Book of Dead, Reactoonz, and Tome of Madness within the province.

Playn GOs top executive for risk and conformity, Sissel Weitzhandler, stated, “We are dedicated to collaborating with all controlled marketplaces, and we are grateful for the authorization from the AGCO. Ontario’s regulated market launch is thrilling and a significant advancement for Play’n Go in North America. We are prepared to assist our partners in Ontario beginning April 4th.”

Individual sports wagering commenced in Canada on August 27th, but only provincial lotteries provided it. The market opens in April, allowing private gaming businesses registered with the AGCO to offer their games to players in Ontario.
