Mary Javier has been selected as the leader and chief executive of the Kentucky Lottery Corporation.
Javier, who has been the senior vice president, chief legal advisor, and corporate secretary for the past 16 years, was chosen for the position by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear.
Javier is the first woman to lead the Kentucky Lottery, taking over from Tom Delacenserie, who stepped down in March after three years in the role.
“I am humbled and thankful to Governor Beshear and our board for selecting me to be the next leader and chief executive of the Kentucky Lottery,” Javier stated.
“I am very proud to be a part of this outstanding team, and our record-breaking financial year sales and returns to the state are a testament to that.”
